There are some difficulty spikes and stages are somewhat long. So i would rate the game difficulty as Hard. *

The game has life system which contributes to the hardness. There are also checkpoints, but they are only useful if you have lives left. If you begin a stage with less than 2 lives, you might as well kill yourself and ''restart'' the stage with 2. Also 100 yellow thingies will give you one life. Sounds a bit like Sonic tbh. *
